A look into the future

Just a look of what could happen in the not so distant future....:you have been having back pains, so you make an appointment online with your GP.
Up to now that's normal, but then the system brings up your medical history, then it looks into a database and brings up pre-appointment questions you should think about before visiting your GP (this way, you'll probably present a much better history, more detailed and accurate, as you would have had time to think about the questions, and not answer hastily in the consultation).
Also it brings up educational material about back pain that you should read and a list of online resources.

So you would be going to the appointment with a detailed, accurate description of your problem, and as 90% of the diagnosis is made from the description of the problem made by the patient, and this is done within SECONDS of the interview, you would have a higher probability of getting an accurate diagnosis.

Also you would be educated in the problem and would be more prepared to make shared decisions with your doctor.

This is an initiative done by people taking part of the  Wego Health's Socialpalooza. The objective was to generate patient empowering business concepts that could transform healthcare.

The name of the tool Is a little.... How should I put it?,well, I will let you decide for yourselves: it's called Appointment Rabbit....don't love he name but looooveee the idea!!!

The other solutions are:
Mighty a health behavior tracker to increase healthy behavior (love this one)
Buddy Bear: a support system for people with chronic diseases by connecting them to online support communities and giving online resources (don't love this one)
Simba: to increase adherence to lifestyle changes and/or medication by generating accountability in social media platforms (love this one)
Healthring: an education platform for seniors (so-so)
